Integrator
Pro for QuickBooks
US/Canada/UK/Australia/NZ/Singapore
Online Store-to-QuickBooks Automatic Order Import
|
Overview:
This product runs as a professional, robust Windows desktop application
running locally on your office PC and uses XML-based technology
to both transfer the data from your online store and for the importing
of the orders into Quickbooks using the Quickbooks-supported qbXML.
It
extends the functionality of the standard version of Integrator
by allowing for separate Customers to be posted to QuickBooks (if
required), and for Inventory reduction (if required)

QuickBooks
Version Compatibility:
- Quickbooks - Pro, Premier, Enterprise, Contractor
and Accounting Editions for US/Canada/UK/Australia/New Zealand/Singapore
Online
Store Version Compatibility:
- Any store that can have its data extracted into
an XML file. We supply an ASP page as a basis for the extraction but clients
are using ASP, PHP, Perl and possibly other methods to generate the XML
file required.
Objective:
To provide for the importing into Quickbooks of
store orders as either Sales Receipts, Invoices or Sales Orders using
the QuickBooks-supported qbXML.
Why
not use the IIF import process?:
There are 2 main reasons for not using IIF-based solutions:
1. Intuit (the developers of QuickBooks) have advised that they intend
to discontinue support for the IIF format and will only
be supporting solutions based on their qbXML format. By using the
Quickbooks SDK we ensure that our application will continue to work
as expected with future versions of Quickbooks.
2. By using the qbXML method provided as part of our membership of
the QuickBooks Developer Network, we can ensure that only balanced
transactions are posted to the QuickBooks data file. This is not achievable
using the IIF import process and is a significant factor in
QuickBooks plans to no longer support the IIF format. |
Description:
As a member of Intuit's Quickbooks Developer Network, we are utilising
the qbXML-based SDK from Intuit to develop our Integrator Pro application.
The Integrator Pro enables nominated orders to be downloaded from the
store and added directly into Quickbooks as either a Sales Receipt, Invoice
or Sales Order. The Integrator Pro, which runs as a full Windows desktop
application on your office PC, handles the entire process transparently.
There is no need to import files into Quickbooks as the Integrator Pro
performs that function for you, and in the process will use Quickbooks'
own business logic to ensure that added orders conform to the requirements
of Quickbooks (iif files are unable to have their data verified
using QuickBooks own logic).
